What to Expect at Your First Appointment

When you come in for your appointment you will be greeted by our receptionist, Sarah. While you wait, we will have you fill out some paperwork for your personal file. You won’t wait long before one of our hearing specialists comes out to greet you and bring you back for your appointment.

To begin your appointment, we will go over the questionnaire you filled out while waiting. We will ask you questions about your medical and family history to better understand your hearing needs.
Then we will begin the hearing test. The hearing test is quick and painless.
After the hearing test we will explain your audiogram as well as the decibels and frequencies you are having trouble hearing.
We will then go over your options for hearing aids and even show you a demo so you can experience how they feel in your ears.

Through our partnership with the HearStrong Foundation, we were able to fit Gordon Dibble with new Signia hearing aids at no cost to him! Gordon is a resident of Tecumseh and was nominated by a HearStrong Champion to receive a free pair of brand-new hearing aids through their Pay It Forward program. We are so grateful we were able to help Gordon by fitting him with hearing aids. Now, he is able to hear his family over the phone and in person. Precious Hearing is a preferred hearing care provider for the NFL Players Association Professional Athletes Foundation. Through this partnership, the PAF aims to bring better hearing to former professional athletes and their fans across the nation. Together, we spread awareness, help players in need of hearing care, and collected data on the connection between hearing loss and professional football.
